Phase 9

today i went from phase 6 to phase 9, is that rare?

just did the same here, not 1/2 hour ago, 6 to 9. why do they even have 7 and 8? (rhetorical question, no answer requested)

i dont really think its 'skipping' phases, just that the website (as we all know) is ..not exactly reliable, when it comes to the phases. I emailed Alienware and asked them for a status update specifically and why it was taking a week each for phase 5 and 6 (no answer yet), but i guess they figured they better update my phase status as far as webpage was concerned.

I would have called them, but i hate phones and dealing with customer support (any company).

PS, maybe I should call them and remind the dude to screw in the graphics card.

No, I know it actually does go through all those phases, but I wouldn't mind reloading my status page to see that it had moved from 8 to 10 ... instead of seeing that it's moved one phase, and thinking "okay, five more days until it moves again!"

Yes, I know, whine whine whine ... really, I'm fine with the wait, it's just been a while now and I'm eager.

yeah i like how i was waiting for like a business week and then it skipped up 2 phases.

I just went from 6 to 7.. and i called up alienware just to see what they would say about my order status and they said my FX-55 should be coming in one wensday

everybody just hang in there. its funny how when you are playing the phase game people tell you to hang in there. now that I actually have mine, i can tell ya'll to hang in there. there is gonna be skipping. i skipped alot near the end.

Z, you are my inspiration. ;D Really, though, I've compared my timeline to yours in order to comfort myself on several occasions. LOL. "Z only ordered a week before me, so I should be moving along soon" etc.
