you gotta fix the uniwills, and i say that as an outraged Uniwill 258kao owner.
In your Cyberpower X-Plorer 8000/9000 its the Uniwill 258KAO (not 259KOA as it is written). Also applied to iBuypower S-Turbo [AMD] and MWave 258KA

Hello folks,

I'm attempting to determine the ODM of the following laptops:

Music XPC M2 (http://www.musicxpc.com/images/produ...ges/m2_600.jpg);
Music XPC M3 (http://www.musicxpc.com/images/produ...ges/m3_600.jpg).

I believe the M2 is based on a Clevo N9860 (or older, similar model). I can't, however, match the M3.

These laptops are both advertised as suitable for professional recording and that they were custom designed by the owner of the company for this task.

Naturaly, after I saw that they use a Realtek 250 chip, I became a little cynical. So, can ya help me out on this one?

interested in buying one? I saw the DL70 myself at a computer show in LA. Nice and simple looking, pretty thin. Has a red lid (didn't bother me much). Pretty sturdy, and good matte screen. But from reviews, it's one flaw is that it gets a 3hr battery life, which I think is low for the type. However it does have a TV tuner option.. making it one of the cheaper 15.4's out there capable of using an internal tv tuner. www.discountlaptops.com is probably the best place to buy it from, I believe istnc.com sells it too.

I was attempting to discredit a company (MusicPC) that was claiming the laptop (the M3) was their own custom design and was built from the ground up as a professional portable audio recording studio. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice laptop, but a professional audio solution it is not.

this thread is abandoned. Maybe someday I update it... but I don't see that happening in the following years. Second last year of college, and after that I'm only on the start of the road.
