heh, no kidding! That's funny when someone who uses something for so long discovers one of the basic things... I've done it myself, so I know the feeling.

PS: SHIFT+wheel is back and forward...

Sorry ThomasB, IE is not much of an originator since 3.0 (except for security flaws)... it was a Mozilla original. Opera allowed the scaling (first browser, that I know of) but they did not use the wheel on the mouse until later (after Mozilla).

Firefox (Phoenix) naturally had it, as it was Mozilla-based.

Same here.

I didnt know the shift + wheel one... I just use the extra two buttons on my mouse for that.

The control + scroll wheel i found out right after I started using FireFox which was about 3-4 months ago.

y0ur n0s rox0rs! Im 1337es7 of all... bah, I can't do that after a few...

What I still would like to see in Firefox is what Opera has (and I miss so much): CONTROL-G to toggle ALL graphics on or off... what a job-saver that was (i.e. here comes the boss, don't let him see yer lookin at the female-rating thread!). LOL!!1!!

lol my amazing firefox discovery was finding that clicking with the scroll button on a link launched it in a new tab...

Was doing it when I didn't even know that I was going nuts to try to figure out what was wrong with this one website because it kept launching new tabs every so often.

Sweet. I've only been using it for about 3 months. Still trying to remember all the keyboard shortcuts. Now ya'll have to go and toss mouse shortcuts into the mix. Particularly those that I don't use with my 5-button mouse.

Well to make it worse I only was using Firefox on a few sites that kept crashing in my IE (a problem I have since fixed, DLL integrity problem) and so I thought there was problems in the source code causing both IE to crash and Firefox to randomly launch new tabs!

I always use the middle button to scroll not the wheel and so it was happening a lot.
