Emachines M5116 Drivers !!

Hello all, I'm new here ..... as I am going mad !!

I have just reinstalled windows xp corp on my mates notebook, M5116.

He has no driver / rescue cd's ... and there is NO SUPPORT on the emachines website !!

I can't find the drivers for the notebook anywhere !!

The mouse pointer is not working, as the drivers are not installed.

Can some one please help !?!

hi

i too am in the same situ, i reinstalled xp pro and now have no drivers etc.

graphics
wirelee
soundcard
pointer
and a few more

as you say the company website has no help or info on 5116 it is as aif they have totally abandoned us users.

please if you fiond out anything let me know i have a totally unusable 5116 now

drivercom guide has no drivers either

drivers

hi

have been just told that the drivers for m5116 are installed by win98me and are not on xp.

install win98me or se and all should work then upgrade to xp if required,

no guarantee this will work but when nothing else works its worth a shot..

gonna give it a try here ,,,,

o_O? That doesn't make any sense...

The M5116 is only available in the UK, and is supported through Dixons in the UK. It isn't supported at the US number, and as such there are no drivers on the US site.

I've seen a site with drivers for the machine.... once. Only once... Like five months ago. Been looking all over since then because I found it by accident, but I have NOT been able to succeed. I'm sorry
