4380 ATI Driver..

I just got my new 4380 with the ATI 9700. I installed the drivers EXACTLY in the order like the manual said and I get the "Blue Screen" on reboot. Then I'm forced to go to "Safe" mode.
I have tried the drivers on the CD and Sager website 3x. I reformatted and reinstalled Win XPPro each time to ensure that all of the "old" drivers were removed.
Works ok with WinXP in control but refresh rate sucks...

Anyone have any ideas??? I looked at ATIs site but they say go to your manufacturer for drivers...
Is there an ATI driver that will work??
HELP!!!!

Thanks,
Blake

Try Omega Drivers, its a now near-offical set of Catalysts hacked by a guy with connections at ATi. Thats what i use with all my systems, ive always had better luck with them, although some people will tell you stories of trouble with artifacting due to optiomisations (cheap hardware) or video playback problems (known glitch, its been fixed now). get them from http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Hey PAPPP thanks for the reply...
I contacted Sager Tech and the were at a loss...
We could only come up with XP SP2 being the issue..
I did find the Omega drivers somewhere and intalled them.
It fixed the problems!!!!!
Can't figure out why.....
Now I just have to remeber NOT to play with all of the fun stuff in the Omega/ATI control panel...I thought it would be cool to rotate the display 90degs, and then I couldn't get it out!!!!! Luckily it crashed the system and when I rebooted, everything was fine!!!!!
I'm really liking this 4380!!!
Much lighter and runs WAYYYYY cooler than my 5660 did.
Fan only runs for about 30 seconds ant then turns off for a couple of minutes....
Thanks again!!!!

Blake
