Mandrake 10.1 64 bit ATI video driver

hey. i just freshly instaled (or at least tried to) mandrake 10.1 64 bit version on my emachines M6805. the problem i get is that during instalation (when asked for settings) my video card does nbot pass the test. i tried changing the resolutions but it still didn't work.
where can i get the drivers for my ati 9600?

also the graphical enviroment does not start. just code lines

Unfortunately, ATI has been extremely deliquint with its drivers, thus there are no 64-bit drivers available for ATI cards. The usual vesa driver should work fine though- try reconfiguring your x with either xf86config or xorgconfig
