andyone else having some prety bad problems with their audio out?

my left speaker consistantly shorts out and i need to wiggle to speaker wire to get sound out of it...but the thing is i can wiggle the thing in a complete circle...something is loose on the inside, would unscrewing the screws make any diffrennce if i could get inside and possibly tighten something up?

yes, right on the right hand side of the laptop in the back, next to the dvd drive...the audio plug wiggles around in its hole, there is something loose inside the laptop, im wondering if unscrewing the two screws on the back of the laptop (on both sides of the back) and accessing the inards of the rear of the lappie would do anything...maybe i just need to push the audio out thing back into place or possibly it is broken and will take a RMA to fix it

What is your model number? (I would like to see the service manual before making a suggestion).

But yes, generally, if it's moving, that's not a good thing.

I just dismantled my 5660 to fix the plug which i broke. I just went in and glued the black piece that holds the plug where it belongs in place. As long as you follow the service manual getting it apart isn't too bad. The fix requires patience but works great.

Yea, They break easily apparently, I sent mine to Sagar to repair it and it came back fine.
