8600 fan

Hi, I just received my new lappy this week and the fan is scaring me a little. It comes on all the time, from every 5-20 minutes, it differs. Here's the weird part, it only stays on for 30-60 seconds each time. It is running on AC. Any ideas on why this is??

It automatically adjusts to the temperature of your cpu, gpu, etc. So its probably after intensive activity at which point it shuts off.

Nice program, thanks.

HDD: 43 C

CPU: Fan comes on at 57-58 C and turns off at 43 C. But it goes from 43 C to 57 C in a matter of 10 minutes, I just tested it. That is why I bought this, to have a nice quick and cool lappy. Is it because there is 50 processes going, will this go away after reformatting?

CPU Load: up to 22% within last 20 minutes. Mostly around 10%, goes up and down.

Current Speed: 600MHz, my system info says 1600MHz. I know this has been mentioned on how to get it to stay at full speed while plugged in, just don't remember and I can't figure it out myself.

Fan status: Are there 2 fans?? They both say slow, one has 3000rpm, the other 4800rpm.
