he was merely trying to showing where the damage was because he couldn’t find his USB cable... so he used pics of my laptop...

thanks man, im just frustrated.

if lawson felt this way why lead me on for a week like this, then continue to sell my asus. without finishing the deal...he told me he sold it for like 1,500 or so and was shipping it out today with the dell..

If your mad cause u felt my asus was not worth it for your gateway and dell, then why did u offer it? And why did u continue to sell the asus? and not ship me the dell?

Im very confused cause when i talk to u on the phone,or om aim ( when u answer ) its like everything is cool.

All i ask is we continue this deal. or trade back. nothing more nothing less. But for the love of god contact me and let me know whats going on

i'll ship the dell..just cuz i am going to stick to my word...b/c thats the right thing to do..but u need to learn that if u can't pay for things...then dont risk it....i dont want to hear about any excuses why u couldn't pay..excuses are like assholes...everybodys got one....i'll ship the dell tomorrow...and i'll supply u with tracking for it...dont call me and dont bug me...u will have a PM tmorrow with the information...sorry if i'm hateful...i'm only speaking the truth and sometimes the truth hurts...dukefrukem, maybe if something happened to u one day u would understand

Thank u, ANd u are correct in your statement. And will leave it at that....

I just ask in the pm, when to expect it, i will be out of town tomorrow, through sunday afternoon, visiting my father, who was one of the excuses u mentioned.

I just wanted to know, why u werent straight with me in the first place, by telling me how u felt. But either way i thank u for sticking to our deal. and am honestly sorry for the way the deal went..and again will leave it at that,

Also twoodcc I cant ship it usp today my friend is in arlington til tonight, testing bikes,,,so im running to the post office in about 30 minutes after i pick my girl up from school. Then i will post the info here, so everyone can see it was returned, like he asked,, then all this will be over with.

Jeeze... I put in that we eliminate the FOR SALE section entirely after reading through the last 50 or so posts of this nightmare.

BUYER/SELLER BEWARE - it is stated in the ANNOUNCEMENT in this section (which few people seem to read). How can ANYONE guarantee what two independant people do in an on-line trade?

I do not recommend banning simply because there are always two sides, and this really isn't as clear-cut as some serious scammers we've caught and dealt with (banning, etc.); plus, in 100+ replies, not one reported post! Congrats, all!

We should let this little saga ride out, and leave it here, visible to all - in all its glory. That sounds the fairest thing to do at this point. What a headache for all.

well this lady told me diff, she said u can file it when it gets back to u, etc...
And that u could have made copies of the stuff and sent that tome instead of the originals. anyway here are the pics,

I insured it for 1,400.00 as requested.

You haven't scammed anyone YET, but you are drawing a very fine line there. The big question is why you didn't send payment to twoodcc. Thats what this whole thread is centering around. Save the excuses, we know it was never sent. Its not to late to turn this whole thing around with this forum. If you want to make a deal with someone send them cash with PayPal. Work with an escrow service if needed. But please, don't ask anyone to cross ship again. Someone asked me to do that a few years ago. He called me gave me his phone # offered to fax me his DL and guess what?? The notebook he was to ship me the same day I shipped mine never got shipped. I almost lost $1200. FedEX finally paid me after months and months of fighting. Cross shipping is not a good way to trade. Thanks Karkass for shipping notebook back today. Will wait for twoodcc to post to back sure he gets notebook back on Tuesday.

Bedford, Texas eh? Looking up your full name at the moment.. based on this thread and previous trades, there's enough for an investigation. I'm sick and tired of these asshats who think they can get away with what they're doing.

i dont live in bedford texas, i have no idea where that even is.. Try Kaufman tx...I dont have an isp, i use my cell phone for the internet. maybe thats why u came up with bedford tx..

And get away with what?

I sent twoodcc his laptop back. and me and lawson are settled on our deal.

So please tell me, what there is to investigate?

And to dax, if i do anymore deals, I will either ship first, or use cod, or escrow etc..And use ups or fedex, for my shipping method..

Working with lawyers all day, and not taking sides in anyway, I really don't think anyone has an FBI case. If anything, if the offense is under $5000, it can be a small claims case... as far as searching his personal information, he might have an invasion of privacy and slander on you for what your saying about him these boards... I could be wrong... so... just keep that in mind. Not saying I agree with Karkass in anyway, because I would never do cross shipping.

thanks. i checked the tracking and it went through, so at least i know he shipped it. this did not happen about the money order though. i will be at my college dorm all week, so hopefully i can get my dad to go deal with them. but it really doesn't matter, according to www.usps.com, i have a full year to do it. i'll let you know when i get the laptop back and everything.

these stories are crazy. two stories where a buyer doesn't pay. looks like someone doesn't follow the conditions of a deal. everything else is after the fact. its still non-payment. imho
