twoodcc, How are you making out with the post office lady. That didn't sound too good (unless she is hot and single). Everyone else, don't keep beating a dead horse. If there were reciepts to show a persons honesty, don't ya think they would have been posted by now. maby. maby not.

well i can't do anything with the post office until i get proof of value, which i'm still waiting on alienware to email me back. i'm debating whether or not to just keep it. i still haven't seen the damage for myself, but it works fine according to karkass. what do you think i should do? by looking at the pictures, should i just keep it? maybe resell it? i know it'll be alot of red tape to go through the post office.

you cant find the original invoice? does the PO keep the notebook if you file a claim. if this happened at my house and it fell off a table and landed on the corner and caused that damage then my insurance would cover it. Ive had a couple desktops covered before and I ended up keeping the desktops too. anyways, to start i would call AW customer service and have them send an email while you are on the phone. there shouldnt be any problem with AW to do that for you.

i can print off the invoice offline, but i have to have proof of value right now, not when i first bought it. and an estimate on the repairs. i emailed AW and they emailed me back saying that my email was forwarded to the right person and they will contact me. so i can't decide anything until they tell me something. i'll probably call tomorrow though if i get a chance and still no email from them. but do you think i should keep it anyways?
