If I purchase an external USB CD/DVD drive can I used it to re-install XP on? i.e. can I boot off it?
Ideally I would like to re-partition the hard drive, and reinstall everything from scratch. Bear in mind the internal CD drive does not work and living in Sri Lanka replacing it is going to problematic.
