What should I do?

I am about to purchase a laptop for college, and I don't know if I will have time to wait for the 8890. I have been looking at the 8887. I have also seen the specs for the new 8890, and I am really amazed, and would like to get that model if i could. The problem is that I need the laptop by august 12th, and I dont know if the 8890 will be at my door by then. Do you guys think that I have enough time to wait for the 8890? I don't want to spend this much $$$ on a laptop and then in 2 weeks have it be outdated. I am sure I will be happy with either one, but it would be nice to have the newest, nicest, most powerful one. When do yall think that the first 8890s will be at peoples doorsteps? What should I do?

Well, I gaurentee that any new Sager laptop will not be outdated in 2 weeks. No matter what Sager laptop you select, it will give you at least 2 to 3 years before you may want to consider an upgrade. There of course is also talk of being able to upgrade our 5670 and 8887s to the newest chipset once available. So you could always go that route if you decide to go with the 8887.
