Neon green and purple streaks all over my LCD... physically damaged?

I am having neon green and purple streaks all over my LCD... sometimes it clears up and is fine but then it always comes back.

I updated my drivers... it's still happening, is my screen physically damaged?

i would probably say physical damage...can you still use it with the streaks...do they correspond to pixel rows or columns of the screen's native resolution?

They are in rows across the screen at the native resolution. Yes I can still use it, but it's really annoying and hard to read anything. I'm on it right now.

well i had a problem kind of like that with my old compaq and if it's the same thing then it might be the video cable going to your lcd that may be bad...just a guess though
