I might have read this thread wrong, and if I did I am sorry for giving info that is irrelevent, but I have yet to see LCD monitors (as in separate from lappies) that are above 1024x768 native... If there are any, they are horridly expensive. Now, with a lappy, UXGA can be used and the fonts/dpi can be changed to make things appear bigger while still using the pixels to the screen's fullest capacity. With SXGA+ (I'm assuming you meant plus since this argument goes on for the 5660... if you are trying to decide between the 5660 and the 8886, then it would be SXGA), things are still going to be kinda small, and you could make the same changes. On the 8886 that I have with native resolution (SXGA), things are just right... Everything looks perfect, and games run beautifully at this resolution. The only time I'd ask for more is if I was someone who did things with graphics that required accuracy down to the microscopic level, lol, on a level where you are past the size of each individual pixel. I never do that, so I go with a lower native resolution (for gaming, since games won't do well at higher resolutions and I almost always run at 1280x1024 if the game allows, otherwise its 1024x768).
