i updated the video bios yesterday and my screen would not turn on when i opened the laptop for the first time in over a month.... went to lunch and closed it again to see if it would happen and once again the screen would not turn on when i opened it. If possible i'm going to flash it back to the previous bios. The list of "changes" on Dell's site didn't say jack-#$^@ anyway. The only thing they said was: "Add some performance and minor fixes". WTF? I should have looked at that before I went through with it... if it aint broke, don't fix it.... and even if it is broke, never underestimate the power of DELL to break it even worse.
