anyone know if the drivers on the sager drivers cd are current?

are all those drivers the most current? and another thing...i can't even tell what 90% of the software on the disk is for...the only thing i've installed are the ati drivers in the vga folder, i havent received any error messages so far in this new install of xp pro, so am i to assume that all else in there are "optional" drivers?

I don't know the specifics either of what you have but some drivers provide extra functionality over the very basic default drivers included with Windows XP. I would try to go through each component in your system to see if it works. If it does then don't install the extra stuff. Although your last crash which you posted about seemed to come more from a software conflict rather than an actual problem with your XP install.
