Things to do while waiting for the 5680 - Page 2

Hm... does that mean a whale can't swallow a Volkwagen Beatle? Kinda makes you wonder...

Goes to show how small a Beatle really is, or is my logic right there?

BTW, what kind of whale?

Blue Whale, if I remember right. Theres a book of useless BS, something about ".. Fish.." blah blah. I don't rememeber the exact name, I never actually read it, but basically it spouts off a bunch of useless information you'll never use unless waiting for the release of either the 5680 or the 8890.

And whats sad, is that until I started posting an hour ago, I wasn't even anxious about the laptop. Now I'm goin' nuts.

We need to hire Draven and send him to the AW forums!
I'm not quite sure how to intrepret that statement... Wether it was meant as a "We need to get rid of Draven", or if my inspirational comments are SO inspirational, that AW customers need me too. Maybe Sager and AW should hire me for PR?

I know how you guys feel now.

I couldn't of said it better.

I'd find something more fun though, like a volkswagon beatle-sized object.... Just to say I had... And because it'd make national news, hell, maybe even world...

"Disgrunted computer geek beats ATI's entire staff with blue whale's tongue over release date."

Yeah, I could do that. Although I'm not sure how much the 5680's will cost approximately, nor what options will be offered with them to pick and choose from.

I found the best way to cure the desire for the 5680, i made my girlfriend buy a 4060 over some nasty dell so i have something to play with.

12) Read hardocp's review of the M10 and realise that the pro 128 version (remember thats what the 5680 and 8890 are meant to ship with) Will kick insane amounts of ass.

How to cope...

I decided to wait on the whole laptop purchase thing until the new toys were out, but it killed me so much I had to go out and buy a new car to tide me over till they came out.
Baja is nice, but it'd be better with the new Sager w/ 9600 Pro sitting in the passenger seat.

I play paintball and work, keeps me away from my own PCs / thinking about them for the most part.

No it doesn't! ARG!!! Playing paintball reminds me of BF1942, which reminds me of my crappy desktop with Geforce2MX200, which reminds of the Sager that I'm going to get, which reminds me of how LONG I have to wait before I get one! NO!!!!

Yeah! now that would power a sager for at least long enough to watch an entire DVD.. maybe two of em! Of course, you'd have to deal with the political protesters marching around in your yard for a while, but they all get bored with a cause after a little while.
Maybe hydrogen would be a little better.. but then you'd have the problem with it's waste.. (Water and computer not really a good idea)

and it could be bulky and dangerous too.. think hydrogen bomb
