Yea, it's OK for gaming... BUT...
You want pretty... go with Alienware
You want better performance... go with anyone else
Here's what you can get from OTHER notebook mfg's that you can't get from AW (a51m766):
Dual channel ram
9800 video (Dell) or PCI-E video (eurocom is selling now, Sager and friends soon to follow)
3.4EE Processor (Last I heard the 3.4 is not even available from AW)
AMD 64 processor
No dead pixel policies
Faster depot turn around and/or 'national' next day onsite warranty
Accidental damage coverage
If you buy an Alienware a51m766 right now it would be like going back a year in technology. It is obsolete even before you buy it.
For all you flamers
... this is my opinion and I backed it up with facts
