I'm going to go against the grain here and say yes, I do regret getting WUXGA display. Compared to my friends WSXGA thinkpad and even his budget home LCD, the colors are absolutely horrible, and for lack of a better words, I would have to describe the LCD as burnt out looking and dull. The resolution itself is a god send, and I don't find the text hard to read at all, but the colors the display has a total lack of vibrance. Deep blues look like washed out cyans, greens look limish yellow, and the whole screen looks closer to colorized shades of grey than their respective colors. Even the Dell repair guy when replacing my LCD commented on the poor quality of the picture. Unfortunately, the replacement display looked similarily washed out so I am led to believe that the total lack of brilliance is just characteristic of this type of display. Just for reference, I have a Samsung - and on the positive side, the display has no ghosting and the sharpness is unbelievable, but the simply put, the color saturation and accuracy is simply abhorrent.
I am sending my machine back next week for refund.
