Good experience with Dell Tech Support

So I called Dell tech support for a failed CD/DVD+RW drive yesterday and we both decided that it needed to be replaced. So he placed the order to get the drive replaced and when I get home from classes today, the UPS guy has a drive at my door. I was thinking it was going to arrive next week some time.

May be it is me .. I have 3 Dell and my experience with their support is ... "What Support? They have a support team?". Members in this forum is like 100 times more useful then any Dell CS staff I have ever talk with.

BTW, I keep on getting DELL because they are inexpensive and I got additional discount when ordering it from work.

Man you must be a real privy to get that fast of service, I get hung up, put of another waiting line. I did tell all of this to Dell a few days ago and told them just how they were being 'talked' about on two notebook forums. I guess the guests the two forums have been Dell reps finally seeing their names in flames of all kinds putting their representatives as the jokes of the planet. Dell knows me I give them the same type of proof to know who I am and what conditon my body is in. They sell systems to the U.S. Govenment, they must have asked for information i told them to be told by their own government departments that I was telling them the truth about my military service, Honorable Discharge and that I never was arrested nor charged with a crime.

They must have seen the word chazzy and associated it with their complaining customer, the result they're reading notebook and notebook review.com for I have the same user name on both forums. They may have come to their senses to be goody goodys until at least after Christmas or have changed there policies to get the people who are angry back to Dell by good deeds, only time will tell. I am glad for you member to have been given what went bad, I only hope it lasts.
