I recently reformatted...loaded all my codecs...d/led wmp 10.
Whenever I try to load up a video file...it freezes on the first frame..the audio continues to play. I am forced to reboot using the power button as it freezes any action on the entire system.

I was using the current cat drivers...rolled back to a previous vers...no luck

Games run fine...but no video playback?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

I am running sp1 and the latest directx.

BIOS version?

What model computer? Sounds like the BIOS overlay bug we've all been dealing with until the latest fix.

You need to contact Sager tech support or get it from someone who has it...try searching for NEW 5690 BIOS....you don't need the phoenix flash program if you have a floppy, you only need that to flash your bios in windows.

I don't have your model, but I have seen the bios on these forums and links to the bios flashing program
