I hate whenever i have to return notebooks. My whole schedule(school) revolves around my notebook, except for golf(im on a scholarship), and just having to go to our schools lab to do get something as simple as a word document done is lame as hell. I work best when im just chilling on my bed "typin it up". My gf had a m380 and gave it to me after i bought her 1280(early xmas gift). She says she like how its smaller. She's doesnt know how far surperior the m380 is compared to its little brother but all she cares about is asthetics on her notebook so it was a definite plus for me when she gave me her m380(which i paid half of newayz). sorry to hear about you(Xynetha) and many others misfortunes, on the new batch of 3790s but im sure sager will fix you up and have your lappy back in no time.

Thanks for your kind words, Jaybit!

I got it in today, got all the drivers installed as of right now and everythings a big green GO! About to start installing programs and see how that all goes.

It's beautiful! Odd thing is, I put the NuShield on it and it was a bit of a battle... like the screen was just a little smaller. But THAT looks great too!

Definitely worth the wait. And yeah, I'm so glad that I'll never have to get on a lab computer again!

Have you gotten your sleeve yet VT? I would suggest emailing Shinza support. I found their support to be excellent. They promptly replied to my inquiries, which were on a Sunday! Good luck.

Doesn't that notebook already have some kind of glossy screen on it? If so, why did you go for a nushield?

Well, I have a WSXGA+ LCD and it's not glossy. But I didn't get the NuShield for that glossy effect. When you close the laptop, if it gets compressed (which is quite possible for me. Even though I have it in a sleeve and I always put my bag face down so that the laptop is not under all my books, I'm sure it still gets compressed at times) the keys can get pressed against the screen which can eventually lead to marks. There have been a few posts in this forum about that incident occurring - when those unfortunate souls aren't busy weeping over their beautiful screens being bruised.

I'm taking the pictures off my site. I don't think this post is getting much traffic anyhow... but if you want to view them, you'll have to download the attachments to the thread.

I'm just a bit curious. Does the textbooks put too much weight on the laptop? I'm planning in getting a shinza sleeve, but not sure how much it protects the laptop from damage. I have a 3880 and I believe it's the same size and dimensions as the 3790. Could you fill me in on this xynetha?
