I tried using NTrack which is sort of the same concept of Cubase and it was very noisy. You could use it for scratch tracks if you aren't planning on reusing the tracks or posting them anywhere (It's audible but very thin sound with a lot of fuzz)

I'm speaking from my experience on an 8880 so you should probably see for yourself.

You should probably take the MOTU rack with you if you plan on recording anything you want to keep...
