sony a190 or emachines m6811???

i currently own a 6811 emachines but at my work I can get a good deal on an a190 sony. here are the specs face to face. BTW I am going to put my 60gb 7200rpm Hitatchi in either one.


Sony A190
PM 1.7 2mb L2 cache
512 pc 2700
64mb 9700 radeon mobility
4xdvd burner + and -
17 inch WUXGA xbrite

Emachines 6811
Athlon 64 3400+
512mb pc2700
64mb radeon 9600 mobility
2.4x + burner and 2x - burner
15.4 wxga


what do you think???

Go with the Sony if the deals that good.

Your get a better quality, better vid card, bigger screen, better dvd burner, and, unless 64bit is that important to you, a processor that will give you more batterylife.

If you can get a good deal on the Sony then i would go with that. X-Brite displays stand out whenever i go to Best Buy. The eMachines is a solid machine though and i like if for the AMD64.
