Smaller icons Possible?

Is it possible to actually make the icons smaller on a WSXGA+ screen Thanks!!!!

how small do you want to get? you can set your resolution to the highest you can get based on your video card.

control panel -> display -> setting

higher screen resoultion, smaller icons / fonts they will be appeared on the screen

I agree with superfire the higher the view the tinyier they will be and then to have them where you had them before, you will have to drag each one to its former place on desktop.

I did have the highest resolution .. 1680x 1050 .. but i also had really big icons.. however i figured it out. if you go to the effects button under appearance.. the use big icons box was checked. so when i unchecked it.. bam. small icons.. thanks!!

You can also right click on the desktop, appearance tab, "advanced" button, drop down to icons.
