Shipped! A question though

Yaaay after all this time my computer jumped from phase 9 all the way to phase 14 in one day. Now I got the tracking number but when I put it in at the fed ex website, it says no such tracking number exists.

Alienware gives 2 track numbers in the email. Why? Two different sets of packages?

And also, does it take a while to register the number or something?

Two tracking #'s mean two boxes. My notebook was in the first one, and the backpack and tv tuner were in the 2nd.

Its possible that fed ex hasnt picked up the package from the AW warehouse yet therefore the numbers won't track anything. Most likely all that has been done was numbers being assigned to your shipment.

Yeah, my tracking numbers don't have any info attached to them yet either ... I can be patient! I've come this far!

Thanks guys, I was just about to lose interest from the long wait, and perhaps even longer delay, then wham, it shipped. Quite astounding lol

the initial email you get from Fed-Ex is 'pre-shipping notification', it means they have received the information for packages to be sent to you, but they haven't picked them up/scanned them yet, aka 'not in their possession', and yes, 2 numbers means 2 boxes.

Yup you guys were right, thanks all you. It would be here in 3 days, but they don't ship sunday or monday, so now it should be tuesday. Awesome. I got my Doom3, Farcry, and Starwars Galaxies ready.
