For those of you who aren't reading the review I'm writing (I thank those who are and I am happy that it is helping some people), I discovered today that the 8886 does not underclock when its on battery power like the 5660 does. I believe the only power changes that happen are hard disk shut down times and the like. I changed every possible setting to try and get the cpu benchmarks to show underclocking, but apparently the review of the 5660 by PCTorque found that happening with the 5660 and it was assumed to be the case for the 8886... I assumed the same. This could be incorrect, I might just be incompetent and I overlooked something, I'm hoping Adam can confirm/deny this so that it is made clear. I am going to run more battery tests each time I get the chance and post the results on the review, and hopefully I can find a good setup to get battery times maximized. Hope everyone's doing well! Sorry I haven't been as active, I'm at home from school on dialup until January, lol, I just write and post at night. Have a great holiday season everyone!
