Very bad 3dmark03 scores..

I only got a 10,313 with an FX-55 and X800XT P.E. Should I be getting MUCH higher then this?

i think yes. i seen one aurora owner get 13,000

Well I just did it again with new drivers and I got 12,957..pretty good but I think it should still be higher then people with FX-53's

not necessarily...that test is mainly based off of the 3d card...not the cpu. The score you got is excellent.

yes you should get 13,000 you should change your hard drive to the raptor 10,000 SATA then you will get better score .I got the x800 xt pe i get about 13,000 in 3dmark03 and 6,500 in 3dmark05 when i had the 7200rpm maxtor hard drive i was getting about the same score as you are.I brought my hard drive at newegg

check if you have cool n quiet on, if u do turn it off...also check if AA and AF is on, if you turn those on it will raise your score as well...good luck

Why does hard drive gives a performance boost in 3dmark? I currently have a 74g raptor and i'm thinking of getting another one and configure them in raid 0.
Will this give a better 3dmark?

3dmark and other benchmark programs test the CPU and GPU...

The Hard drive gets 0 useage in a benchmark, except when they're loading the different tests into the system ram from the hard drive. When the actual benchmarking is going, the hard drive is idle.

My 3d Mark 05 is about 300...

on my custom built 2.4C system with a 9800pro card, im getting around 2350 in 05 and about 6330 in 03 at stock.
