- name your wireless card
- name your router
- let us know if you have any problems

- dell 1350
- d-link di-524
-im curious because i have a d-link di524 router and it doesn't seem to like my dell 1350 wireless. i seem to get 1 drop per 3 hours, which isn't a big deal unless im playing a game and am abruptly disconnected.

I have a Iogear. Works great, but don't recomend it. Not very user friendly(set up). I have the Dell 1450 wireless and an Iogear wireless card.

No problems. It is just very difficult to set up. It took 2 or 3 different Iogear techs to help figure out this thing.

Internal Dell 1350 Wireless card
Desktop with DWL-G520
Linksys WRT54GS Router (Highly Recommend)

I used to use a D-Link DI-624 router with my current setup and it would constantly reboot no matter what version of firmware I had installed. Got the Linksys and absolutly no problems with it. It will run for months on end and never need to be rebooted. Also there is third party firmware availible for it which unlocks a whole lot more features

I have the 802.11b intel pro 2100 with a D-LINK DI-514. I have called tech support numerous times to no avail. I still can not get the two work together. However my dlink works fine with another pcmcia card and my 8600 works fine on a linksys router. I think these 2 are just incompatible. I have updated firmware and numerous tweakings of the router settings (MTU, preamble) with no luck.

This is a description of the exact problem im having.

DLink DWL-G120 USB2 Wireless network connector
USROBOTICS 8054 wireless Router
None what so ever, the dlink USB adapter is the most sentive wireless card I have seen. I have used an internal 1400 and a Oricnco Gold with a 7dbi antenna and only have picked up my router and my next door neighbor's router, with the Dlink I can pick up mine plus 4 other neighbors.

I have a Netgear and I hate it. Doesnt support local loopback so my rtcw buddies cant join my server and accessing my own forum takes 5 minutes. It quits working about every 2 months so I have to reflash it. Seen the same router today at best buy in the bargain bin for $20.

Dell wireless 1350 and 1450 in 2 laptops

Now my Linksys works splendidly

WiFi Card: Intel 2100 (B)
WiFi Router: Linksys BEFW11S4 (B)
Problems: Well... (Flips out list) ... This router sucks rear end. IT takes forever to get a signal, but luckily when I get one, I keep it. I cant get a signal on the other side of the house, and if I do, it is anything but stable. I use it in my dorm when I am on my bed (5-7 ft away) but cant get it outside my dorm room (10-15 ft away) and it is invisible only 25-40 ft away (3 walls). I bought it before I knew the WRT54G was the one to get.

Router is the D-Link DI-524
ADSL modem is from Korea Telecom (KT) and it works great with the router.

I haven't had one single problem with this combination ... it's excellent.

Dell TrueMobile 1300 wireless.
Microsoft Wirless Networking Station.

The only problems I have ever had came with SP2 and they are not related to the hardware. I have never had a dropped signal, etc. and the signal remains strong in most areas of the house.
I am stuck @ 11mbs. Next lappy I will go for a new router and latest card.

Dell 1350 wireless card and a Cisco 340 AP. Never had any problems with either, the Cisco is a champ...its nice being able to turn down the broadcast power to limit the coverage provided to just the house and property and not all over the neighborhood.

I have the1350 card with a Netgear WGT624 v2.
I have had no problems with the router. Although it seems my lag increased when i set up the 128 bit encryption. When i play games i dont even mess with the wireless. I have a wire waiting. Unless my wife is using her work laptop here then I have no choice.
