Got an odd problem with a Latitude. I bought it with a broken lcd ( you could see the display properly in the undamaged half) I took the entire cover assy -which worked perfectly - from my Inspiron 3800 and traded them. Same part numbers, both 14.1 Samsung. On the Latitude, the screen is dark with a very faint display if you shine a light on it. With the screen back on the Inspiron, it works fine. I traded inverters, but they are both good. The Latitude works properly with a remote monitor. Any ideas?
