Sorry for the basic question, but I’m pretty new to wireless. I’m looking to buy a 700m from eBay or Cragslist.org and I notice some say the integrated wireless is 802.11b, some say 802.11g and some say 802.11b/g.
I know that g is faster than b, but how much faster is it?
What’s the deal with the b/g?
This is primarily going to be a travel machine and I will be connecting wirelessly in many hotels and I really do want the fastest possible connection.
