Default Monitor - Anyone has this ??

In my Control Panel > System > Device Manager it shows 5 Default Monitors.

Also, in the ATI program (Omega AND ATI) it shows 5 "default monitors"

Is this some kind of problem ?
I think that the ATI (again, both the omega and the ATI drivers) drivers are not properly recognizing the monitor and consequently not properly showing the option (that is said to exist) to "keep aspect ratio" when stretching games to full screen.

thanks .

i have the same problem. I have a Sager 8790. first it started with dots all over the screen and artifacting. I looked in the device manager and noticed 5 default monitors. They want go away no matter what I do.

Did you ever find a driver or a fix?

I have tried so many things to fix the dots all over my screen and nothing works. Can anyone help?

Dots and the 5 Monitors are differnt. The "extra" monitors are ok, not an indication of a problem. The dots; however, indicate a problem with the video card or the drivers that are employed.

I am not sure if it is not a "problem" because I can't have the ATI drivers to recognize my screen as a widescreen instead of a normal screen and make the proper adjustment.. And the lack of this adjustment is quite annoying for gaming.

And, martiristic, i didnt find anything that solves this yet.
