P30 confusion

I thought I was going to get the Dell 9200, but now I'm not sure with so many 17" notebooks coming out.

Anyway, I just went to Futureshop to take a look at the P30 (-JC1) and was very disappointed with the display! There were other Toshibas there with TruBrite screens (and they looked awesome), but the P30 I saw absolutely did NOT have TruBrite. It was a regular, flat looking LCD with not so great viewing angles. Does anyone know if Toshiba sells P30s (in Canada) that do not come with TruBrite screens? The website says that all P30s have it, but what the heck was I looking at, then?

I noticed the same thing at Fry's last month on a P30. Only thing I can figure is that the retailer didnt order the display model with a TruBrite screen, or Toshiba made a batch of display models without it. Does seem pretty odd though...
