Unless it is set up for PCI-E with all of the necessary components, I would be leary of any company really allowing for upgrades. Sure, it may happen, but it is certainly a gamble. Dell already has the 9800, so you can probably guess where they will go from there. AW has already shot themselves in the foot with the upgradable GPU, check on the forum over there, you will find they had a boatload of controversy with there existing units motherboard being able to accomodate the 9700. As far as sager, I can only attest to the fact that the current 5690 will not allow for an upgrade (only because that is what I own and what I have researched), as they are skipping the 9800, and not not offering an upgrade on the PCI per cost reasons. Here are a couple quotes from Adam on Sager bypassing the 9800, and from Luke on the not upgrading the 5690

Simply put, I would be really leary of believing any company that says they will have an upgradable GPU, unless they designed their system to accomodate the PCI-E. Then, personally, I would not consider it a fact, but instead a possibility.
