Finnaly the 9860 is avaialbe now and in stouck and with the X800 Display card, that is realy great, where it was the last thing i was waiting for... but unfortiontly the 3.8 CPU still out of stock, in time all other companies have it in stock now, Also the whole system become sheeper in some other comapnies like in Powernotebooks who have a better customer serivce as i hear, also they include the Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound which i think its an important think in such machine, don't know if in PC torque have the same or not. so can we expect something from PCTorque regarding the 3.8 CPU, price, and cilver thermal compund.

PC Torque's 9860s all have AS5, and I believe that Luke has said in the past that ALL of them use Arctic Silver 5, due to the heat requirements of Prescotts.

All notebooks shipped from Sager are the same regardless of reseller, so in retrospect things such as AS5 being applied to the CPU/GPU are the same no matter who you order from. The 3.8 is not in stock at Sager, and since all units drop ship from Sager... no one has 3.8's. Sager has announced the 3.8's will be back in stock 2/11/05. We try to inform our customers on our site before they purchase on whether or not a part is in stock and will delay an order. As far as priceing I thin I saw one configuration where we were $11.00 more, I supose that is just the cost you will have to pay for 24/7 tech support and a large user support forums. As stated in the rules though we do not want price wars to start so please try to keep reseller pricing of the forums. We do try to offer a competitive price but prices can vary by a few dollars from reseller to reseller.

Congratulations ambit . i've been following your posts in anticipation of receiveing mine and, to be honest, I thought you guys would have a longer waits for the 3.8's.

Never been happier to be wrong, and I hope that, when you get yours, you can help me get the most out of mine through these forums (or if you know of any downtown/bklyn lan parties I could bring this beast to...)

May your screen be completely dark when booting up and black.
