Dude, you're killing me! There are two or three wonderful threads discussing the issue of installing the 9800 card and receiving refunds on the tech service. You've already received as much info as you need on your own thread
What's the deal with the MR9800?, where you questioned whether I had actually installed the card before calling Dell for a refund on the installation service! Maybe you should ask one of the moderators to help you set up a poll looking for the most popular way to receive a refund on the tech service of your 9800 card! You can poll on five choices:
- Called Dell and asked for customer service
- Chatted online with Dell customer service
- Wrote a letter to Dell customer service
- Sent a prayer to God for help with Dell customer service
or
- Drove directly to Dell customer Service and Napalmed them!
Just keep your three year warranty intact and let one of the tech dudes do it for you. I recommend at least reading your manual on the installation procedure so you can keep one eye on your Pepsi and one eye on the tech!
