While Im not too sure on how the Broadcom b/g performs compared to an Intel wifi card...I just wanted to note that if you dont have the Intel wifi card your laptop wont be considered a *Centrino* anymore if you originally had a Centrino laptop.





.....like that matters anyway, the *Centrino* brand is just a name to sell more laptops with Intels hardware

I scraped my sticker off, now my blue man group MP3s wont play.

BTW, one point of contention seems to be the software driving the wireless connection these days. I think the broadcom drivers are a pain, others- especially in the dell forum - will probly have more well informed opinion of it though.
