I'm gonna get my first laptop soon.
But back to topic. I need a notebook in the next few days. Plus minus hundred bucks don't make a lot of difference. I just want it from someone reliable.
From what I've heard, IBM makes sturdy notebooks. This is why I was shopping around for one. I am a college student as well as a semi pro digital photographer.
My requirements are not very serious.
1) Office applications... lab reports... etc
2) I want to download stuff to the notebook as I shoot. (through a card reader)
3) As the budget allows, I'd want it to be able to convert from raw to jpegs
4) and MAYBE work with photoshop... but that may be unrealistic
5) It has to be upgradeable. The hard disk and memory. If possible, I'd like it to be upgradable easily. So that I can do it myself.
My budget is 1400 Canadian Beavers MAX
That's about 1100 american.
I have to be below that line including shipping to M2N1L8 and 15% tax
