Cash Options

Hello- I am ready to buy my 9860 and am wondering about the options I can use to pay for it by cash. I know about the standard ways (cashiers check, wire transfer) but was looking for a fast way to do the transaction and get it verified. I had read on here before that someone used an "pay-pal check" to pay for it. Is this just a standard pay-pal transaction? Has anyone used this before with PC Torque or do they even do it? How do I go about doing this? I am basically looking for a way to charge it to a credit card without going through PC torque and having to pay their fee. Thanks - Scott

I juar placed my order via the cash option and it appears to me that the wire transfer is the quickest way. the pay pal is an Echeck which still takes 3-4 days to clear.
AFAIK the wire transfer gets it there same day.

I too chose the cash option when I bought my 3790. I payed by check, which took about a week total. Mailed the check on Tuesday and by the next Tuesday my order was placed with Sager. I'd also say that the wire transfer should be faster; unfortunately, I have no advice for you on how to accomplish the transaction. I do know that you can call PCT and they will be more than happy to answer your questions.

Once you place the order the confirmation email you receive has the info on where to send the wiretransfer.
Then you just call your bank or stop in and talk to them. They will transfer the cash with the info you get wiht the confirmation email.

I'm wireing my money tomorrow. Hoping to get my 9860 by monday or tuesday at the latest

Okay thanks~ I am not to knowledgeable about wire transfer. Do you do it through the bank because I know Western Union charges a lot of money to do transfers? Who do you go through? Would I be able to charge my credit card to do the transfer or is it through your bank account? If I do go the E-check route…how do I do it on pay-pal? I haven’t used pay pal too much, so I don’t know it that well. If I log onto my pay-pal account how do I go about sending an e-check? DO I have to set anything up with PC torque to do it? Where is it on the site? Thanks ~ Kray

Just realize the advantages of going through a credit card company. If you have a dispute then you'll have a HUGE advantage with a credit card company on your side.

All purchases I make over $1,000 are done with Amex. If you have a valid complaint they WILL take care of you and get you money back immediately, even before the dispute is settled.

I'm all for lower prices, so can I use the cash option and still use PayPal?
Or can I give them a credit card linked to my back account over the phone using the cash option?

I just want the transaction to go through as fast as possible so that there would be no complications/waiting.

I ordered a 9860 from PCTorque on Monday and paid using a PayPal eCheck -- it should clear tomorrow (Friday). It usually takes 4 business days.
