M675 Blue Led Question

I am curious to know if anyone has ever seen the other blue LED lights on the keyboard portion light up besides the WI-FI and POWER buttons. If so, how did you do it? Seems like 4 wasted LED's to me. Thanks in advance.

On the M6811, one is Num Lock, and another is Caps Lock.

On the M6809 and I believe all M68XX, the status lights are as follows (left to right):

AC Power Connected
Wireless On/Off
Caps Lock
Num Lock
HD Activity

They are listed on page 35 of the manual. If you don't have it, you can get it here:

This is not an m68xx question, it is a m675 question

Thunder you are very observant. I was just following the post regarding the 6811.

Not complaining just trying to keep it on topic for BOSSAIC I do the same in many threads. It's easy to veer away. FWIW, your tip about the manual may be the answer anyway. It likely has a brief description somewhere in the m675 manual.

The manual is also installed on your machine by default.

I was assuming that the lights would be for the same things on most laptops.

I think he is referring to the LEDs around the buttons towards the top of the keyboard on the m675. The wireless and power buttons have a light around them much like our power button does. The other "hot keys" on the m675 appear to also, but may just be "dummies". I may be wrong, but it looks like those are the LEDs in question.

You are correct

Those are the lights in question. Wondering if those lights actually have lightbulbs. Seems like their only purpose in life is to be a dummy. Sounds like me and my laptop have much in common
