There is quite a few tools to OC your Mobility Radeon, but keep in mind, that's something you have to do carefully, step by step.

Check it out:

Rage3D @ http://www.rage3d.com/ or;
AtiTool @ http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=725

There is also the Omega drivers wicht is an optimized driver for MRs.
Check @ http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php .

The easiest way is to down load ATItools:

As to how much you overclock, that depends on your nerve. Certainly 450:220 is safe on mine.

Download one of those tools and raise the clocks, one side (core or memory) at a time, about 5Hz at a time. Test (gaming, 3D benchmarking, whatever). Repeat. Continue until it becomes unstable, you lose your nerve, or artifacts start appearing.

What punks? can you give names?
Are you worried because of brand-racism? or ignorance?
Some people ARE punks. But I dont think there are many on this forum. But yeah, give names. There are moderators who are there to keep them in check.

I would reccomend downloading the omega drivers. They will give you a small boost in performance themselves and they include a program called RadLinker, which will allow you to overclock. However, the Radlinker overlcock sliders are a small pain to adjust properly. You need to go to advanced properties under the Advanced 3D tab in your display properties and adjust the sliders to change the increments before you actually change the clock of the core and memory.

I thought sony's sucked (for OC-ing), because oc causes heat and the sony's don't provide ample cooling for their GPUs like most other lappys

ATITool is the way to go. I run my s @ 487/210 in game no problem. All other times I underclock it to 180/202 .
