New Catalyst 4.11 Drivers

New ATI CATALYST Drivers:

ATI has released a new set of CATALYST drivers. These are actually recommended for use with WinXP Service Pack 2, so if you're running SP2 you might want to consider downloading them.

Used DHmod on these babies and so far very stable and nice. Gotta be better than waiting for the next Omegas that are still on 4.10 beta..

Beta 4.12 drivers modded for at least the Mobility 9800 are out there with even more benefits. See this thread. Not sure if the mod allows install on the 9700 as well.

Two things, Can you post a link? I and some others dont have a support account to alienware.
And second being, Is this for the mobiles? I am new to mobile technology, and almost everything about them is a pain in the rear including drivers and such. But I thought you had to download alienware's version of the driver for the 9600/9700 mobility.

If the desktop drivers work, I have it already.

The 4.11 drivers do not work with the laptops. I just tried installing them yesterday and it gave me an error...
