the lappys power supply is fried...i'm trying to resead it but i doubt i can fix it...lmk what u wanna do...i'm not buying a new mobo b/c it will cost me more then i want to pay for this thing again....

well, ive been reading all of this and i probably shouldnt throw my two cents in but i will anyway. no one has to take my suggestion.

i think that the deal should just be off. each of you send back the stuff to the rightful owner and be done with it. there is so much drama around all these trades that it seems like it isnt going to be fixed. i say call the deal off.

this is what i think we should do:

rent out a ring, and have them 2 duke it out. i will hold the notebooks and present them to the winner. i will also hand fobstarstruck over in a bikini for 1 hot date to the winner (don't worry, we won't tell your wives )

How do u trade something that you basically do not own yet? I know we all play with laptops and a few of us work on the repairing and upgrading them. From what I understand (because Karkass has been promising me this laptop along with another that we are working onfor one of mine m6805) this laptop broke once already. So how about instead of making something up you prove this thing is fried. If you did an electrical fry there is proof of what you did, the board will be distorated the power supply would have poped, etc it sounds like you claim both and suggest a MB replacement. Quite frankly I must say that this sounds completely bad. In over 28 laptops that I have sold and traded I have had only one bad deal and that was someone stealing a M51 Alienware. I do not know what the situation is in full I know there was a problem with payment, it sounds like things were settled you were sent a ASUS laptop and you were supposed to send the Dell that you still have not sent so how do you have the right to trade something that you have not finished earning?

Now I could be wrong, you could still have the asus but if you don't ur on my do not trade list. You just do not do that unless you agree to do so to pay the prior owner to conclude the deal. This trade has taken to long, both holding eachother up. You should not treat forum members that way.

haha. a freaking discussion thread in the FS forum. this is nutz. by the way... it was Karkass that screwed the deal from the begining by not paying for the gateway. lol. I just had to bring that up again. (I wouldn't want it back) maby keep the gateway and get a 10 dolla mo. (10 dollar money order, get it. I crack myself up)
