That's sounds about right for my desktop (1.4 GHz CPU, NVidia GeForce MX 440 64 MB, and 512 RAM). I've actually got one of those slot one upgrade CPUs with a Clereron 2 onboard - the things supposed to clock at 1.8 GHz, but these damn Gateways are clock locked! Can't open up the FSB to get the last 400MHz! I'm truly not agile enough to jumper the mobo so I can overclock the FSB. Call of Duty runs great, and It's nice that many computer games have such a reasonable minimum requirement for play, actually makes my desktop feel like it's running with the pack! It's these fetish graphics games like Farcry, Doom3, and Half Life 2 that brings my Desktop to it's knees!
Either way, I'm with Drakino on this one. This "activation" crap has got to go. Playstation 2 doesn't put a location collar on my Grand Theft Auto San Andreas game disk if I want to take it and play on another PS2 - or let a buddy try it out on his!
Not to mention the insult of having to call customer service if unforseen problems have occured either with the game, or your system, that requires you to reinstall - and you've met your 3 installation limit! Customer service informs you that you've met the license activation limit, so you have to explain that their "activation" policy sucks with a hint of ass, and to please issue a new activation number!!
On the other hand, I'll see you guys at the Half Life 2 forum!
