Sager in the UK

Hiya all are Sager based also in the Uk not just the USA interested in the pci-express notebook.

I think your only option is to order it from the US. Fortunately, you don't have to pay any duty, just the VAT when it comes in to the country (which you'd be paying anyway if you found a local supplier).

http://www.ajp.co.uk/ aren't Sager, but they do Clevo units, but I haven't seen the PCIe model there yet. Maybe drop them an email and ask if/when they'll be getting them.

I have a Sager 8790--pretty full spec. too! Love it--and I'm from South Wales. Bought my Sager from XOTICPC.COM based in Nebraska though my Sager was shipped from California. Total paid was about $2,800, about £2,300 if I remember, that included shipping and money for Mr Brown (the fat ugly man who charged me about £280 VAT when my lovely Sager touched down on British ground!)

Isn't chembook in the uk? I know i've seen people in the UK that had bought them over there.. but they aren't called Sagers. You probably should google the spec's for the notebook along with UK sellers and maybe something will pop up for you..
