Ok I am looking at a d800 being offered in a trade. I like the way ti looks and the centrino setup. However I know this unitl has an upgradable video card (It has a FX5200 and I have the Ti4200Go w/copper heatsink for it) But now what I want to know is this;
I have used ATI in both my m6805 and m505x in my sig. I love the card and how it functions but I have not seen the nVidia side Ihave just heard it was not holding up. From what I understand the d800 can take upto the ATI 9600Pro Turbo, I am trying to find the page showing these upgrades. But I want to know how the nVidia stacks up now. I know where the 4200 will stack up but what about the FX5650 that I was told was the max for this laptop (Is the FX5700 available for this modela nd if so how does it compair?) Also I found a Nvidia Quadro FX 700GO on eBay for this laptop and I know its mainly for Cad but what level is it on and how does it handle the gaming enviroment? WHat are the draw backs etc?
