I'm writing this on behalf of my friend. He has a $1600CDN budget so I suggested the asus Z9 with pentium-m 1.5 and 512mb ram. This is for school use for typing, surfing and some graphics work ranging from design to some video to some audio work. Not really needing a powerhouse notebook but enough to get through school. The only concern is if the intergrated video card will affect anything? He's not a gamer, so gaming is not a concern. Is there another one that anybody will recommend within that budget?
