Wireless card

Is the wireless card that aw offers nice? i've read it's kinda crappy!
What do you think? What speeds do you guys get with it?

I have it, it works for my purposes (i.e. connecting to the WAP in my house.) It may not work for your purposes (e.g. connecting to a network with sparse APs, say, on campus).

Using the latest Atheros drivers (they are the chipset maker); don't let Win XP configure the link, either.

I have no problem getting a full 54 Mbps out of it.

It's the internal mini-PCI wireless.

Sweet looks like it is out there, if not complete yet it is being worked on, thats all I need. Thanks for the info, good to know the reception is decent, was wondering about that.

Another question...

I've read about new wireless Super A G routers that offer two channels- both at 108 MB/s. I'm sure this would be a good buy, but what kind of range (outdoor and indoor) could I get with this possible 150 dollar investment?
