My 9100 power adapter is buzzing

My 9100 power adapter has a constant buzzing sound comming from it. It disapears when unplugged from the laptop but starts again as soon as it is plugged in.

Its happened before and i ignored it and it stopped for a while, but now it is buzzing again. .. anyone else had this same problem ? I want to ring Dell but i also do not want to be without an adapter for my lappy for any extended period of time.

Is it the power adapter itself causing the problem or is it the battery in the laptop ?

They shoud advance replace for you, so give em a call!

Mine does too. I think it was discussed here before and result is it's normal. Dell will easily replace your adapter but there is a small chance that new one will not buzz.

Yeh other than the buzzing everything is working fine. I just dont want to put up with it and then find out it was not meant to be and have something die on me. I guess ill just wait and see what the final verdict is.

Mine buzzes softly, nothing to worry about. They should send you a replacement if you ask for one.

I don't have that problem, but is it just that adapter or is it every adapter? I hear a loud EEEEEPPPPPPP buzzing sound coming from lots of adapters. I bothers me alot. My sister gets mad when I unplug her chargers. She says "that just because i have super dog hearing powers not everybody can hear the sound." Please tell me you hear it in other things....
