This is my first BTO notebook. I am actually pretty familiar with desktop systems.
My question is pretty simple, is there any way to use/enable APIC to get all 24 IRQ's on a new 8887 with XP PRO and HT enabled ? This is with P4 3.06 already installed from factory.
I did not see that option listed in bios nor any mention of it.
Also, is there any alternative like a Targus for the 1990's looking brick power supply ? That thing is huge and ugly.
